Pario Engineering and Environmental Sciences (Pario) was proud to participate in the 7th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Charity Social held Thursday, March 10 at Grace O’Malley’s Irish Pub in Toronto. This event, supporting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, was held by SCM Insurance Services. Pario, a member of the SCM Group of Companies, was proud to co-present this event with representatives from their fellow organizations.
The event sold out with more than 400 people in attendance. Guests enjoyed live music, refreshments, and appetizers. Luck of the Irish was everywhere that evening as a guest won a 50/50 draw of $1000.
While final numbers are still being determined, it is estimated that over $5000 was raised for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). JDRF has worked for over 40 years to fund research and advocacy into Type 1 Diabetes. The SCM Group of Companies has raised funds for this organization for many years. Pario is proud to support JDRF and thanks everyone who attended and helped make this year’s celebration a tremendous success.
