Pario Engineering & Environmental Sciences LP (Pario), one of Canada’s top providers of specialized engineering and environmental services to the insurance and risk management industries, is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Luis Pernudi as Senior Structural Forensic Engineer in Edmonton, Alberta.
Mr. Pernudi comes to Pario after spending almost 30 years in the field of Structural Engineering and Forensic Investigation, managing and undertaking fire, failure analysis, and engineering investigations for industrial, commercial, institutional, hospitals, and residential clients. During his career, he has been involved in a wide variety of investigations and accidents, involving structural losses throughout Western Canada and Costa Rica. Mr. Pernudi’s diverse areas of expertise gained from his forensic experience include structural failures, building code assessment, foundation assessment, seismic & wildfire events, and dealing with high volume damage assessments following natural disasters.
Mr. Pernudi is licensed as a Professional Engineer, P.Eng. with APEGA, Alberta and PEO, Ontario as well as in Costa Rica. Mr. Pernudi has aa Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Fire Safety) and a Master’s degree in Project Management. He has a focus in forensic engineering investigations.
