Ottawa, ON. Pario Engineering & Environmental Sciences LP (Pario), one of Canada’s top providers of specialized engineering and environmental services to the insurance and risk management industries, congratulates Brandon Northrup, Fire & Explosion Investigator on the completion of his Vehicle Fire Training. Based out of Pario’s Ottawa location and supporting Eastern Ontario clients, Mr. Northrup is now a fully certified Vehicle Fire Investigator.
Mr. Northrup came to Pario after spending eight years in positions of Fire Chief and Emergency Manager for the Corporation of the Township of Cramahe and ten months as Senior Fire Investigator with -30- Forensic Engineering. During his 17-year career in the fire service, he was involved in the suppression and investigation of hundreds of fires from a diverse set of environments, including large structure, vehicle, and wildland fires. Brandon is a Red Seal Licensed Sheet Metal Worker, Licensed Radio Operator, and holds 12 NFPA certifications, including NFPA 1021 Fire Officer III, NFPA 1521 Incident Safety Officer, and NFPA 472 Hazardous Materials Technician.
As a certified Vehicle Fire Investigator, Mr. Northrup now has increased investigative and analytic skill pertaining to fires and explosions in motor vehicles and can participate in civil and criminal litigation that may arise as a consequence of these investigations.
