We are pleased to welcome our two newest team members to the Environmental Division, Laura Taylor, B.Sc. in the Thunder Bay office and Benjamin Nketia, C.E.T. in our Head Office in Concord.
Laura has over 17 years of environmental management and consulting experience in Northwestern Ontario. Her experience includes supervision of site investigations, remediation, development of environmental policies, procedures, certification programs, and environmental management systems. She is also experienced in environmental permitting and liaising with regulatory authorities. She has supported ISO-14001 programs. Laura’s education includes a B.Sc. from Royal Roads University in Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering Technology from Confederation College, and Natural Resource Law Enforcement from Sir Sandford Fleming College. Laura will be focusing on the spill responses and remediation projects to allow Pario’s David DelZotto to concentrate on the growing engineering and fire investigation book of business in that market.
Benjamin has over 22 years of environmental consulting experience in the Greater Toronto Area. He has been involved with many small to large investigation and remediation projects to address petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorinated compounds, and other contaminants for both public and private sector clients. He is experienced in program design, investigation, and remediation implementation, and permitting and liaising with clients and regulators. Ben has a Civil Engineering Technology diploma from Humber College, Toronto, a post graduate diploma in Environmental Engineering Applications from Conestoga College, Kitchener, a certificate in Occupational Health & Safety from the University of Toronto, and he is currently obtaining a Project Management certificate from Sheridan College, Brampton, which is scheduled to be completed in June 2022.
