Pario Engineering & Environmental Sciences LP (Pario), Canada’s national provider of forensic engineering and environmental sciences services, is pleased to announce the addition of Norman Parks as Senior Electrical Forensic Safety Engineer. Norm’s appointment represents an important addition to Pario’s North Vancouver office as they continue to add specialized expertise to their growing team.
Norm is a highly skilled electrical engineer with over 47 years of professional experience, including 40 years of experience performing forensic investigations using ANSI and CSA standards. He has held roles at various engineering, investigation, and consulting firms, including Safety Engineer, Project Engineer, Electrical Designer, and several roles in electrical forensics. He has extensive experience as an Applied Product Liability Engineering Specialist, determining product design, defects, and electrical forensic failure analysis. Norm is a Licensed Professional Engineer in three provinces (BC, AB, ON) and a lifetime member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. In his new role, Norm will investigate product failures, provide peer review on liability claims, and conduct reviews of legal cases. He will report to Zachary King, National Director of Mechanical and Materials Engineering.
