Pario Engineering & Environmental Sciences is excited to welcome Jean-François (JF) Leclerc-Cloutier as our new Environmental Project Manager, based out of our Montréal office.
JF’s path into the world of environmental science began by studying geology in university. He then moved on to a Master’s degree in earth sciences solidifying his passion for environmental sciences. After completing his Master’s, the rise in gold prices led him to the mining industry. Eventually, a job opportunity came along that aligned with his personal goals, especially his desire to focus on starting a family, “It all came together at the right time,” he explains. JF was able to find a new career in the spill response industry, closer to home.
Now with several years of experience, JF joins Pario ready to make an impact. “When the role at Pario came up, I knew I had the right background, and one of my long-time mentors encouraged me to go for it. Having the chance to work with a strong, supportive team like Pario’s really sealed the deal for me, which was something I had been missing.”
Outside of work, JF enjoys travelling, spending quality time with his family, and playing the bass guitar, a passion he finds both creative and grounding.
Looking to the future, he’s eager to help shape the next generation at Pario. “It’s not an easy job, but with experience, you learn what works. I want to make things smoother and more efficient for new team members, to create a supportive learning environment, automate workflows where we can, and be a strong mentor.”
We’re thrilled to have JF on board and look forward to the expertise and leadership he brings to the team.
