Pario Engineering and Environmental Sciences is pleased to welcome Robby Lopez to our environmental sciences team in Southwestern Ontario. Robby joins Pario with a strong educational foundation in environmental engineering, hands-on consulting experience, and a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
Robby's career journey began with an interest in education, where he spent time tutoring high school students and considered pursuing a career in teaching. As he explored different paths, he discovered a growing interest in engineering, inspired in part by his father's work as an engineering technologist specializing in municipal drainage. This led him to enroll in the Environmental Engineering Applications program at Conestoga College, where he developed practical consulting skills and gained valuable experience tackling real-world environmental challenges.
Through his early work in civil and environmental consulting, Robby realized he was particularly passionate about environmental engineering and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on communities and the environment. His experiences strengthened his desire to build a long-term career focused on solving complex problems and contributing to sustainable solutions.
Robby was drawn to Pario because of the unique exposure the company provides across a wide range of projects and disciplines. He is excited by the opportunity to work alongside professionals from diverse backgrounds, learn from their experiences, and hear the different perspectives. He values Pario's collaborative environment and sees it as an ideal place to continue developing both technically and professionally.
Outside of work, Robby enjoys staying active and exploring new places. An avid downhill skier and curler. He also enjoys travelling to new destinations, experiencing different cultures, attending live music events, hiking, and exploring the natural beauty that Canada has to offer.
