Pario’s Eduardo Mari becomes a member of Nace Technical Committee, Corrosion Mechanisms

Toronto-Pario Engineering and Environmental Sciences (Pario), one of Canada’s top providers of engineering and environmental services, announced today that one of their Forensic Engineers, Eduardo Mari, M.Sc., P.Eng., has become a member of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) Technical Committee: STG-60 Corrosion Mechanisms. As a NACE member in this capacity, Mr. Mari will be involved in collecting, assessing, and disseminating information related to understanding corrosion and cracking mechanisms.

A Forensic Engineer in the field of Materials Engineering, Mr. Mari performs materials and metallurgical investigations, mechanical failure evaluations, and plastics failure analyses, in addition to his work in corrosion and Building Code and Standards consulting. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Engineering from University Simon Bolivar, Caracas, in 2002, and obtained his Master’s Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the State University of New York, Stony Brook, in 2009. He has presented research at the NACE Corrosion Conference in 2013, and authored several technical papers in peer-reviewed journals.
