Mould may germinate and flourish on any organic substrate (paper, wood, cardboard, dust, textiles, etc.) if the correct conditions exist. Unfortunately, those ‘correct conditions’ are commonplace, with most moulds detected in residential and commercial sites where the temperatures are within the human comfort range.

• Our experts will inspect and provide opinions on cause and origin based on visual observations and for more complex situations they will consult with our building science engineers to help identify the source of moisture.
• Sample the affected areas to identify the types of moulds present.
• When excessive mould presence is confirmed, provide recommendations for abatement procedures for remediation.
• Provide supervision to ensure appropriate abatement protocols are engaged and followed.
• Provide visual and air clearance inspection and sampling, and surface sampling (if necessary) to confirm that the mould has been effectively remediated.
