British Columbia WorkSafeBC Asbestos Abatement Training & Certification

Pario is a WorkSafeBC approved training provider for asbestos certification. As per the passed legislation (Bill 5), which came into effect in January 2024, Pario is offering a series of training programs to ensure compliance with the new certification and licensing requirements in British Columbia. Any person performing asbestos work must have valid certification to comply with the regulations (e.g., asbestos abatement workers require Level 2 certification).

Those not mandated to obtain certification, but who would benefit from general asbestos safety awareness are encouraged to take Level 1: Foundational Awareness.

Pario offers four levels of certification (we are currently only offering group sessions):

• Level 1: Foundational Awareness
• Level 2: Asbestos Safety
• Level 3: Asbestos Safety Leader
• Level S: Surveyor Safety

We also offer recertification services to help individuals maintain compliance with current legislation and ensure their certifications remain valid.
