Biography
Joshua started out as an intern in the forensic science research field during and immediately following his degree, including the design of standard operating procedures to be used in explosive investigations for the Centre of forensic sciences. In 2017, he began working as a Project Assistant for a forensic engineering firm, where he assisted with site examinations, maintained chain of custody evidence collected, and gained experience in the claim handling process. In 2018 Joshua became a Technical Consultant, where he evaluated damaged structures and finishes for hazardous materials and air quality concerns. Joshua has experience in evaluating, creating scopes of work, and monitoring the remediation of hazardous materials and chemicals. Joshua has ample knowledge of forensic processing, having assisted in developing systematic operations across Canada for the same in his previous role. He is adept with analytical chemistry, water damage and mould assessment, and creating scopes of work for asbestos damages resulting from losses. He is also skilled with the assessment and consulting of hazardous materials, smoke delineation, and all things indoor air quality.
