Our forensic engineers will extract this data and information from a vehicle’s onboard systems to establish pre-collision speed, braking and steering data, occupancy, and collision severity. This data is combined with dashcam video footage, an examination of the mechanical integrity of the vehicle, and seatbelt assessments. Then, using sophisticated computer modelling software and analysis techniques, our forensic engineering team is able to reconstruct the collision to establish liability and conduct visibility assessments, both daytime and nighttime, using 3-D laser scanning technology and light reading equipment.
